lyrics
We took a wrong turn through a black hole now we're fucked
The walls of space are slowly melting into one
I wanna tell you what I'm thinking,
'Cause I'm sure we're never coming back
The void is promptly closing in a light so blinding
The gates of time are open, our spirits binding
I wanna tell you what I'm thinking,
'Cause I'm sure we're never coming back
I wanna tell you what I'm thinking,
'Cause I'm sure we're never...
As we reach the centre all is calm
Solar winds are blowing through our sales
Drifting through an ocean of our thoughts
Never to return
Sandy beaches calling from afar
As stars smile like a rainbow
All is quiet on the other side
Distant galaxies call
No, we'll never truly understand
Never...
Welcome!
We took a journey to the 13th floor,
Our bodies numb our minds...
Awoken!
We took a journey to the 13ths floor,
Our eyes are closed the doors are...
OPEN!
We took a drive back to your mother's favourite memories
I wanna tell you what I'm thinking...

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor

It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.
