lyrics
Join the sermon, set your soul alight
We're going for a ride, God speed!
With the subtlety of Post Malone
Soft polarising love, don't look down
Oh so tender, a culture founded by madness
I can hear your headache
Leave your thoughts behind a firewall of xans
Call all of your friends always
Never be yourself, your soul is ours
We're going for a ride, wave goodbye
Oh so tender, a culture founded by madness
I can hear your heartache
Oh the wonder of charismatic authority
I can feel your mind ache
As the Earth smiles politely at the Sun
She asks "Could it be me? Well I guess it could be anyone..."
And as if time and space stood still for just a moment...
The Devil grins and exclaims...
"THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PLACE LIKE THIS!"
Our love is so relentless,
The depths of hell could never rip us apart
Take a sip and let your ego divide
We're going for a ride, nothing's true
No-one knows how much it hurts to die
We're going for a ride,
Through forever, stormy weather,
Ever-lasting sun.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor

It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.
